How do i use power up canteen

how do i use power canteen plz tell me

Upgrade it during a MvM game mode, and hit H when you want to use a power up you upgraded it with. Only works in MvM, though.

I have the same problem. I have unbound h, and rebound it but it still doesn't work.

Are you sure the canteen wasn't empty?
Also, look at the canteen info on the HUD (by the ammo count, on the lower left) to see if it says for you to press another key just to deploy it.

I know this will sound dumb and I'm asking 3 years after the conversation but, after messing around too much with my tf2 files I accident unbinded my H and I can't seem to find the console command to bind H to the power up canteen use, can anyone help? thanks, stay safe.

You still necroed this thread. go to your control options and select " use deafult controls" or something like that.

You need to press the button set for the Items selected in the "Action"-slot (default should be the "H"-button) to use the upgrade you have stored in your canteen. It's the same as using the spellbook.
