It took a good 19-22 hours for me.
It took 12 hours for the 2014 halloween update.
Battlefield 4 takes about 20 minutes.
If I didn't would have took me atleast a week.
so it took tf2 about 2 days to download.
depending on the size of updates, it can take a few minutes to an hour+.
I have no idea what she pays, but she has AT&T with a bundle for Phone, Internet, and TV. Probably a set speed for the package deal. Alos, FIOS and AT&T are really not even in the same UNIVERSE when it comes to speed, reliability, and support, from my experiance.
Ok thats sad, uverse packages usually have a minimum of 6mb/s at the very least... usually its more like 18... they must have just not given her a speed boost because she never asked, at&t is notorious for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its customers that way, after a 1 year "promotion" they jack prices up double until you call in and threaten to cancel again until they throw you to retentions to once again get you a "promotional price" which is actually just regular price...same goes with the speeds. So if your grandma just lets them do what they want, at&t will just roll over her.
If you think AT&T is bad, try dealing with Time Warner or Comcast. A few years ago I lived in Irvine, CA in a new condo with all the good stuff. I was paying almost $100 to TWC for the 25/25 Fiber connection. They couldn't even push 5Mbps, It was always around 512Kbps to 800Kbps even with the new technology for internet.
They kept hiking up the price of my plan by about $10 a year until it got up to around $130. That's when I called it quits. After I got my job in Vancouver, my connection is as I said above was around 320Mbps up and down for $70 CD.
Never again...
Yea well thats the thing, its all bad in america:(
Where do you run....
Vancouver Canada. :D
You have caps?
Anyways have your grandma call in and threaten to cancel or change providers, they tend to fear people dropping their tv service more than internet since they need the numbers.
No caps from what I've seen. Just freedom to use working internet for once in my life.
