Do soldiers even use the reserve shooter anymore?

I NEVER see a soldier with it. it's either, Conch for health regen of practically a medic.
Gunboats for being a bunny. OR that one secondary that gives you 20+ health.

Degreaser reserve and Axtinguisher combo is instant kill anything.

Scout? Use Reserve.
Anything else? Axtinguisher.

But people are intent of using a More expensive Strange (Strange Shotgun is 2 keys compared to a 4.33 ref Strange Reserve Shooter), Jumping around like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moron (Gunboats or Mantreads), or trying to support the team (Buff Banner, battalion's Backup, Concheror).

As for Pyro, I see Flare Guns more often. More Pyros are using Reserve Shooter now because they overhype the buff to the 22nd century. I'll tell you right now; It basically did nothing to the weapon.

That is not true. Airblast counts as being shot in the air with explosive. So you deal minicrits to people you airblasted.

That is not true. Airblast counts as being shot in the air with explosive. So you deal minicrits to people you airblasted.

Uh, the reserve minicrits airborn targets no matter what. Not even jumping as a scout is safe. I think you're thinking of the direct hit.

Ugh,sorry, I actually don't play Pyro too much... It ain't hard to forget.

The extra switch speed is useless if you have a degreaser, and you can get FULL crits just by popping 2 shots with a flare on someone, or lighting them on fire with degreaser and then switching to flare gun. It kills scouts real quick, so it just seems like a waste to use the reserve shooter at that point. With flare you can still crit people from far away and without having to toss them up into the air.
