The force a nature will ♥♥♥♥ with your accuracy as it will pop you or the enemy about far distances and it will really knock your aim off. If you really like it, try play around with the Soda Popper first to get used to the small clip w/ fast reload.

Some tips:
- first of all is to know what kind of weapon FaN is. I like to use following analogy:
Scattergun is like Pyros Flare Gun. Made for killing
FaN is like Detonator. FaN got kockback and force-jumping while Detonator got manual Detonation and flarejump.
FaN is more of an utility and tool than pure killing weapon like Scattergun is.

- learn to FaN jump! I mean it, if you are not going to you might as well use any other Scout primary.

^dudes channel is full of nice FaN videos on how to use it effectively. I´ll recommend you to check it out.

- if you can practice FaN jumping in empty servers. Just run around do FaN jumps, found nice new routes to use. Experiment is the keyword.

- turn off autoreload when using FaN. Make a keybind to switch it off if you use autoreload.

- slow down your shooting. You got only two shots make sure those hit. Holding down Mouse1 and spazzing your aim around gets you nowhere. When engaging and enemy try to get as close as you can.

- play a bit more cautiously and cowardly at first. You got only two shots and quite lengthy reload so your chances in prolonged battle are not that good. Know when to back off it´s not being a coward its being realistic on what you and your weapon can do.

- be annoying/distraction. Just pop in shoot those shots and get out, flank using other routes and do it again. With FaN jumps you can take really unexpected shortcuts that when used effectively can mess up your enemy really good.

- knockback: it can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
Best case scenario: knocking people into environmental hazards

worst case scenario: knocking enemy to safety to his teammates or to healthpack etc.
Try to sort of analyze the situation: "Is it wise to shoot him from here or should I run into his side and then blast him against wall" etc.

- as for secondaries:
- I´d say one of the Pistol would be the best choice for finishing of an enemy from a distance and having a good secondary that does reliable damage.
- Cleaver on its own or with Sandman can work just fine.
- Bonk! is good for ultimate distraction loadout
- Milk is more of an teamwork oriented secondary that as a lone Scout is not that good. But experiment if it works for you use it.
- Crit-a-Cola. Extra speedboost lets you cover more ground to get in positions more quickly. But as for the minicrits its debatable you only got two shots and lengthy reload so your damage output even with minicrits is not that good. But as for Milk, experiment if it works for you roll with it.

That´s really all I got.

I prefer babyface blaster but suit yourself.
aim carefully. If you get your first shot right, you will immobilize the enemy, which gives an easy meatshot.
well u cant really use these tips at the moment as much as i would because tf2 has been changed to portal
