Team Fortress 2
Cleaner's Carbine Rework
Keep everything how it is, but lower the damage required to charge it from 100 to 75 & add the following attributes

:steamhappy: Crits whenever it would normally mini-crit
:steamsad: -25% damage dealt

Now it deals 25% less damage & fires 25% slower (and has a 20% smaller mag), but if you shoot people for the same amount of time as right now to build the meter the meter will give you full crits instead of just bringing you up to stock-but-with-a-mag-penalty. It would have 133 boosted DPS, which is a bit worse than other weapons in addition to requiring you to fill a meter up, but it's crits so it'd have no falloff.

Thoughts?

I thought mini-crits didn't have falloff either? What's the point of going through the trouble of balancing the weapon to go to full crits when mini-crits function identically but it's just +35% damage instead of +300%?

The main perk of mini crits is the lack of distance falloff indeed. Besides the case the bushwaka I guess

Make it that the minicrits only work on the SMG, and not on the Bushwacker to give Sniper a really solid anti-tank method for MvM. Very cost effective too since the only thing you need to do is upgrade melee attack speed.

rewarding a class for doing what they should be doing in the first place historically is bad
I'm about to start blocking people who talk about falloff.
