Why do Rainbows make Scouts cry?

Why is this so? Spy always says that, did Scout have some traumatic past with Rainbows that upon hearing or seeing them makes him burst into tears? Why do Scouts always cry when it comes to Rainbows? Discuss below.

The spy's problably just saying that to make the scout jealous or make him angrier.

It's because he always though there is a pot of gold in one of the ends, but spy found that out and told the thruth to scout, and so he cried and spy continued to make it as a joke.
