Tf2 Character Sound: Fix in progress.

Q: How do I disable the character sounds in tf2, but keep sound effects and announcer? The reason being I am trying to censor the character swearing from the game.

A:EmNudge is making a "Pootis!" filter for every swear. He has finished the scout and is working on other classes.

so are you saying that we should never swear or that there shouldnt a "age limit" to start swear (never swear or swear whenever)

Are you actually serious? I live in the US so bloody is not a swear word here. I was thinking of filtering them myself because I have been given permission to play the game with everything on. If you are doing it, thank you in advance. Otherwise, I see what you did there. If I filter, I may replace everything with something silly like "burritos." Or sethbling's "gorilla."

Step 1 : Don't let them play an M-rated game like TF2.

Step 2 : Buy them a Nintendo console/handheld.

Step 3 : Mario games.

about the crap thing, it's too late.
I have finished bleeping all of scout's lines, including all those that say "hell" or "crap" because I wasn't sure what you considred a swear.
you can delete those files if you want.

it matters on your own definition of extreme and mild curse words.
I could give you an hour lesson on the philosophy behind curse words but I don't have the time for that and frankly, neither do you (I hope).

I am filtering all of them.
