How to equip B.A.S.E jumper on demo?

I've seen other demos use the B.A.S.E jumper. For me though, it's greyed out and reads: "Item conflicts with other equiped items."

I cannot find any combination of secondary and melee weapons to allow me to equip the B.A.S.E jumper in the primary slot. Am I missing something here?

try a shield and sword maybe that will work

No luck. Is there a specific shield and specific sword that has to be used?

Make sure you remove whatever cosmetics you have on your back and you should be fine.

AH. Problem solved. I didn't realize cosmetic slots and weapon slots could conflict. Thanks!
