Hats randomly appearing out of the ground

I played on a unmodded server, and suddenly a hat popped (as prop) out of the ground and disappeared after ca 10 seconds. What the hell was that?

They added that well over a couple months ago. If someone dies, their hat goes flying off.

Same here, and now there are even bodyparts randomly appearing for me...

Yeah, these things happen to me too for some reason.

I mean, imagine being an Engineer on a CTF map in a small intel room (like Sawmill or 2fort) all alone when a Gibus flies out from nowhere.
