Ali Baba's Wee Booties and Bootlegger
The booties do give you more health, but it replaces your reliable source of area denial and splash damage, making it more suitable for Demoknights rather than regular Demomen.

I think both the boots needs a buff.

Ali Baba's Wee Booties
+25 max health on wearer
+100% increase in turning control while charging
+15% faster melee firing speed
...Or...
+25 max health on wearer
+100% increase in turning control while charging
+7% faster move speed on wearer
...Or...
+25 max health on wearer
+100% increase in turning control while charging
Knockback invincibility on wearer while charging
Charging cannot be interrupted

Bootlegger
+25 max health on wearer
-65% blast damage from sticky jumps

In this way, the Ali Baba's Wee Booties would be a good choice for a Demoknight while the Bootlegger would be a good choice for a regular Demoman.

Constructive criticism below.

Alternate buff suggestions for the Ali Baba's Wee Booties:
  1. +1000% increase in turning control while charging
  2. +100% increase in charge recharge rate
  3. +25% bullet resistance on wearer
  4. Bullets miss wearer while charging
  5. Suggest below...

Still wouldn't really give me any incenitive to replace my reliable source of splash damage with a stupid pair of boots, you already give up your sticky launcher (which i don't even use that much) to use your shield, it's neccesary to carry a grenade launcher with you as demoknight.

But you do have a point.

Yes, that's why I'm asking for a buff to the boots.
Give them +1000% increase in charge turn control.
That's what they should have had from the start.

They're straight upgrades in medieval mode, so they're fine as is. Unlike them, there are actually items which have *no* good use (assuming that you have all to choose from).

That actually sounds nice.

Medieval mode is meant to make some weapons straight upgrades. But what about normal gameplay?

Faster Recharge of the Charge itself could help for the buff.
i mean okay the persian prusader (right? forget the name of the melee) is good but if you want to play with eyelander you got no chance but waiting for a victim. even if you got a medic it's hard to get a head and dont die in the next second.

But the sticky launcher is the most powerful weappon in the game!
It's even refered to as Demo's real primary
I even wrote a script to swap binds as to never forget.

Problem is that i find the Sticky Launcher boring to use. I go Demoknight nearly all the time except on Defense, and then i bring out my Scottish Resistance instead.

How is it boring? Sticky spam is one of the easiest ways to kill everything!

And, by killing everything, you become "Kredit to team!"

I love the way they hate me for killing them with remotely detonated explosives

Personally, I think they should give bullet resistance, or apply a 'dodge' effect to bullets while shield charging.

Bullets are basically the only thing that Demoknights have issues with, and it's one of the biggest things they really should be resisting, as most bullet weapons happen to be some sort of shotgun, or otherwise are incredibly lethal in melee.

That's what they should have had from the start.

1000 x 0 is still zero.

If you'd ever played on a 10X server, you'd know that 1000% turn speed is actually pretty significant
