what is flank
i hear people in competetive use this term alot, so i'm just wondering what it means :p

Flanking - attacking from behind, making a surprise attack on the enemy.

the flank of a map is when you attack down the left or right side to out manouver or surround the other team

Flank is basically the side route where the majority of your team isn't going to be pushing or defending. On pl_upward, the flank can be the walkway hugging the cliff on the 3rd cart cap point.

Oh, It can also be used to refer to the people defending the side route.

Let me explain...

I wander far from the team and get into enemy base... when they come out i ambush a Medic, Sniper, Spy or any weak class...i Sandman a strong class, kill my target and run away to do it again....

Scout is a good class for flanking and getting into enemy lines and hit and run a weak class is the most effective strategy for Scout...

flank is a cut of meat from a particular land animal
I preffer a flank of lamb, seasoned with salt pepper and herbs and searved with a side of yorkshire puddings and vegetables.
