Hard counters = good, soft counters = bad
A hard counter is a thing that makes TF2 boring (i.e sentries vs scouts and pyros). These classes have to stop whatever they were doing and do something else or go get help when they come across a sentry

A soft counter is what makes TF2 fun (i.e pyro vs soldier) The pyro can have an advantage vs soldier, or not. It all depends on the reflexes of the pyro, height, distance, timing, speed and so on.

Soft counter = good

hard counter = bad

I don't think you understand the problem here. Let me rephrase

Hard counter = simple

Soft counter = not simple

Better?

Hard counters are bad.

Don't you mean a sentry? Pyro and Scout are both superior to a lone Engie.

Hard counters make TF2 waldo you ass, without hard counters we wouldent have advantages and disadvantages to each class, we would devolve into COD, no specific weaknesses, no advantages, just dudes with guns, soft counters are the castle which stands on the foundation of hard counters, the icing on the cake if you will.
You find this game "boring", go play something and stop whining about made up bowl ♥♥♥♥.

Trolling? I thought discussion boards were meant for talking abot opinions and stuff, but okay then.

I think we have very different ideas on what hard counters are, Ham Wizard. It would be impossible for TF2 to devolve into CoD without making classes all have the same health, same speed and full access to all slot selections. Until that happens all classes will continue having specific advantages and disadvanteges, hard counters or not.

More examples of soft counters

scout vs sniper

Soldier vs demoman

heavy vs every other class

Not sure how often you play Engi but that is my main class, and I have seen EVERY SINGLE CLASS take out a Level 3 sentry and the Engi guarding it.

I have seen a Pyro come round a corner and melt an Engi, and his turret without taking a hit of damage.

I have seen a scout use his bonk to get the sentry to kill the Engi, then hide behind a corner and kill the sentry will well timed shots.

I have seen Spies take down Pyros, and have seen Snipers MID-AIR HEADSHOT Scouts.

All counters are soft counters (under you definition of a soft counter, skill level and environmental factors come into play), because with enough skill ANY class can beat its "hard counter".

I know this because I have Stopped Uber-ed Heavies and Soldiers and killed more spies than I can count. I have been killed by Scouts and Pyros with far more skill than myself, and as a Scout (don’t play Pyro often) I have dominated Engis with less skill than myself.

Hard counters are essential to TF2, they encourage class diversity. The classes themselves are counters, the heavy has a lot of health and high damage output, which counters weaker classes, while his slow speed makes him vunrable to attack at the same time. To remove the hard counters in this situation would mean to level the playing field. This would require you to make both the heavy and scout have, for example, 200 health and both have miniguns. Hard counters make gameplay interesting as you have to adapt your tactics when you get your arse handed to you.
You are impling that hard counters are bad, thus implying you not liking the advantages and disadvantages of each class, implying you like games such as COD

well, at least thats how i read it
also :
"Soft counter = good

hard counter = bad"

"Hard counters = good, soft counters = bad"#

hahahahahahaha
and he claims he isnt a troll
i swear, if someone collected the bull you put on the forums, you would contradict yourself more than there are people on the planet.
Im pretty sure every time you get your ass handed to you, instead of moving on you create some thread complaining about something, and release views that contradict your previous ones. I havent kept a record of your previous threads, but remember you contradict yourself a lot!
You got dominated by an engie cause you wanted to be a scout, no matter what, and made this
Im not saying stop releasing ideas as you sometimes have good points, all im saying is be consistent and make sense.
