How do I use the Shortstop more effectively?
Alright, serious question, my friends. How do I use the Shortstop better?

I like getting up close and blasting foes with the Scattergun. But I somehow never feel comfortable with the Shortstop. It just feels a little awkward to me for some reason.

The shortstop doesnt let you go in or take risks, the entire purpose of it is keeping distance and play like a ♥♥♥♥♥.

The reload is too slow for any kind of sustained combat, you empty your clip and run.

That's because it's harder to use than stock

You have to aim faster to utilize the faster firing speed, and at the same time be more precise because of the lesser amounts of pellets

Random spread is also twice as bad for this weapon.

Hit and run at medium distance. Mad Milk and Crit-a-Cola pair well with it because you’ll never be up close like with Stock or Soda Popper.

it's because the gun has a smaller spread than stock which seriously throws off some player's aim.

my best advice would be to use it to engage enemies along with equipping a pistol. mad milk + shortstop is a gay strat that makes you a support scout (not fun). also don't mag dump.

use Cola and turn it into a pocket sniper rifle

Use on offense, pair with the bonk, get behind lines, destroy teleporters.

I know it sounds crazy but hear me out, having an scout with the short stop peppering people for small numbers and occassionally kills is -really- annoying (Particularly because you're sniping them from a mid distance and running away when they give the smallest reaction) Eventually people will start chasing you, people chasing you means less people defending, less people defending means losing, losing means getting people tilted, people tilted means getting easier kills.

TL:DR: Be an THE annoyance.
