shotgun vs family business. best shotgun?

i would like to know some feedback about this.
out of those 2. wich one of them is the best shotgun for the heavy?

I prefer the Family Business since if you're going to use a Shotgun as a Heavy at all, you're likely going to be getting up real close to the enemy.

Especially when playing Fat Scout.

I like the Family Business, because unless Fat Scoot then speed, reliability and a good backup that doesn't need reloading as much to switch to when you have no primary ammo is what you want in your shotgun IMO.

Shotgun/FB is good just use it solely to avoid being ambushed or if you need to chase someone down. Good, immediate sources of burst damage without having to rev up a Minigun.

Thing is with Family Business, you are going to miss your shots if you don't take time to aim them. Shotgun is much more immediately lethal without needing any more clip size than it does, but if you learn to aim the FB in sync with its firing speed, you'll out-perform the damage penalty.
