Could Powerhouse be connected to Hydro?

I know you might leave instantly, but still, I have proof that these 2 maps may be connected.
First of all.
In Powerhouse, there is a section behind the fence in the mid point where an area looks like Hydro.

As you see there, that substation or electrical thing whatever.
Appers to be a prop from Hydro.

The building in the background even seems similar to Hydro buildings, and even the Powerhouse buidlings seem similar to Hydro.
And remember, CP_Powerhouse is a VALVE made map, not a community made. Which is intresting.

Both maps are hydro-electric power stations, anyone could induce that from simply looking at the two maps.

Also Powerhouse is a small 3CP map, so it wouldn't surprise me this is a rework of Hydro.

yea its true, I've always noticed how similar the maps look and it really surprises me, and yea, it could be a rework of Hydro, then again, that area does actually seem familier to a certain part of Hydro.

Tons of Hydro's props are reused. This makes sense since this is another hydroelectric station. Most maps which share the same theme tend to reuse the same props.

Whether or not the two maps are actually connected in lore is debateable, though.

I don't think it's supported on valve servers. Like there's no way to even vote for it to go to that map. All they need to do is add that vote on CP maps and it's golden. It might not be played 24/7 but god dang it will get played much more than now which is never.

yea unfortnuatly, valve stopped supporting the map which could've caused it to lose popularity, and its actually a great map too!

hmm yea this just might be ture only sad thing is not alot of people know of hydro... i was in a server the other day and was talking about hydro when someone asked in chat "whats hydro? is that one of the new maps they added?"

They have been proven to be connected. There is an unused part of Powerhouse, still, on the map, that has a waterfall, which can not be seen unless you no-clip to it; this is supposed to be the back of hydro, at the end of the map. The alien stuff is things that were originally for the asteroid map, and they put it on other maps for the invasion update.
