HUD disappearing

After the new gun mettle update for TF2, the Ammo counter, spy bar and other HUD elements in the bottom right corner disappears leaving only the crosshair and HP counter. I Don't use any HUD mods, and am using direct X9. Can anyone tell me how to fix this???

Type hud_reloadscheme in the console if that doesn't work then it'll probably come back when you switch maps or classes.

You can't, this is a game issue that the team needs to fix. Even custom huds suffer the same issue because of the lack of hud optimization. So bind the reloadscheme command to a key so you can use it whenever it happens again.

I did that, it doesn't fix it.

I heard that pressing f (or whatever you binded to +inspect) fixes it.

Reloadscheme usually fixes most issues regarding huds. If the +inspect command also fixes it then good to know.

im gonna necro this ♥♥♥♥ and say i've been trying to make my own hud and i started moving the ammo and now its dissapeared and when i hud reloadscheme it appears for a milisecond then dissapears again any ideas

You can fix that s problem by, going to your hud folder, take out the one with the info in it drag it into your custom folder for tf2. The your set, this works for me. Hopefully it works for you as well
