unboxing isnt gambling, but even so its not worth it
But not it’s almost never worth gambling.
even if you aren't trying to profit, the hats range from alright to terrible and its cheaper to just buy them directly
like really, theres so much more profit to be made gambling there. Some of the most rare items in this game have sold for around 10 grand. Very often the most rare items in CS have sold for half a million dollars
Really the question is only something you can answer, do you like the items in the case enough and enjoy gambling enough to spend some money and likely only walk away with some non-strange cosmetics.
This exactly.
I kind of just treat CSGO cases like scratch tickets except when you lose you atleast get a somewhat interesting item to play with in the game.
Never indulge in them or take them as a serious way to earn profit. But if you want to occasionally spend 2.50 once a month on a single case thats fine. Its no more harmful than spending 2.50 on a soda or a bag of chips youll enjoy for a day.
