Question about premium

So.. I'm new the the game and I was doing research on how to chat in-game..

I learned you need to buy something from mann co. for $5 or more, but I was wondering if I could buy multiple $1 items that equal $5? Would this still count?

This is also correct, but it may be easier to buy one or two things where the total is exactly or just a little bit over $5.

The 5$ is needed to unlock your steam account(if your steam account is free) as long as you buying something from the mann co store then its gives you premium.

It doesn't have to be $5. Buy a key, it's the most worthwhile thing.

the set amount to breaking free from the Private Profile Steam curse is $5
you can buy literally just anything from the Mann Co. store if you wish to be free from the F2P curse

Yes, people used to get premium by buying 7 cent Giftapults (though that item was removed from the store long ago)
