How to gift items

I know I sound like a complete noob but I have an item that I wrapped, now how do I gift it?

There is, you buy a gift wrap from someone or the store for two dollars fifty I think. Then use that gift wrap to make an item tradable then go trade it.

OK, here's what happened. I wanted to trade my Kazotsky Kick so I got gift wrap from the market and wrapped it. Now it's still untradable and I don't see any gift option.

There are 2 giftwraps that you don't decide who it goes to - one goes to a random person on the server you are on and one goes to one of the 40k-70k active players in the game. Theres a third one that you can use and immediately gift it to your friend from the friends list. Select the gift from your backpack and you should be able to see what kind of wrap it was / gift it.

I got it from the market so yes.

m8, all you had to do was wait one week, just one week and you could of traded it without the gift wrap.

Good job wasting money on a gift wrap, you can't bypass that kind of untradable.
