Uncle Dane did have some good ideas.
Or the pda lets you build mini dispensers I dunno.
Or laser sentry pda.
Or something that builds a suit or robotic mecha that you have to build up to LV3 and only you can pilot it. It moves kind of slow (slower than a heavy but not as much as him when revved), and has an autocannon. Crouching covers the engineer's head and back, protecting from headshots but cannot move while crouching. When it's destroyed the engineer is launched into the air and stunned for 3 seconds.
Wearing the suit negates 80% of all damage until it is destroyed. Repair to the suit is reduced by 66% when it's worn, hitting reload will exit the suit.
Crouching prevents backstabs and headshots but will prevent you from moving while crouched.
The suit can be sapped.
The engineer can be healed while in the suit but not overhealed.
The only way to get more ammo for the suit's weapon is to have a teammate wrench you.
I didn't even notice this written there.
I think we shouldn't habe a new pda but instead a new blueprint mechanic. You get blueprints the same way as weapons. You can then add them to a pda to replace buildings with different buildings. This will either remove the blueprint if valve wants us to buy new ones whenever we want different ones or keep it so we have to expand our backpacks.
Something similar can be done for spy disquises and even hevy sandwiches.
