The most valuable way to make a profit in the manner to get the other taunts is to restrict the director's reel to 4 high priced taunts (conga and rancho being the most expensive still, the kazoski kick doesn't exist in those editions though).
The price would be $2.50 per crate, if you unbox a conga or rancho, nice, but if you want other's, unboxing a double would give you great advantages in trading, either get the ref or find someone who would trade up the other taunts you want in equivalent or overpay.
I was lucky enough to get the ranco from an unboxing on that crate, so I sorta got it $7.50 cheaper.
Trading is a must to save your wallet, but it will take a while, cause someone actually has to have one of the taunts and be willing to trade it.
