TFC Pyro is female! + Hints towards the TF2 Pyro's gender.
But what about the TF2 Pyro?

Hints:

The Engineer and the Pyro, in my opinion, are shown to be pretty close friends in the comics. In True Meaning, the Pyro and the Engineer are hanging out in a house with a fireplace during their Winter break.

Perhaps they became friends through the TFC mercenaries?

The TFC Engineer has been shown in the past to be close with the TF2 Engineer too. On the Engineer update page, there is a secret photo of a young Engineer and what seems to be the TFC Engineer kneeling down next to him, with his hand on the TF2 Engineer's back. He seems to be a father or role model of some sort.

Perhaps, when the Engineer and the Pyro were young, the TFC Engineer and Pyro somehow got them to be friends.

Or maybe even... SIBLINGS!

So how does this help us? Most of the classes in TF except for the TFC Pyro are male. The TF2 Pyro is undetermined.

The TF2 Pyro could possibly be:
A little kid in a mech suit
An alien
A man who sees weird hallucinations
A woman who sees weird hallucinations

Also, note that the 1800s Pyro was male. But not just male: HE WAS ABRAHAM LINCOLN!!!!

Maybe Abe made an Australium life extending machine or got Radigan Connagher (Engi's grandfather) to make it. Abe is smart enough to run America AND invent rocket jumping, so he is probably a smart guy.

So, I will leave the rest with you!

OP making such "theories" when he doesn't even know that TFC engie and TF2 engie are relatives.

Pyro is most likely a homosexual male.

No, it's not most likely homosexual male with hallucinations. If you didn't know, gloves are not always a perfect fit and may have a bit at the end. If the suit is made for being worn by both genders/testosterone levels, then the ring finger may have some extra room.

I didn't say he certainly was, I said he was most likely to be. You also have to factor in other body measurements and the fact that... well, every other character is male in the game. Then again, it's still up to speculation, it's just that this theory seems to have the most supporting evidence.

Still doesn't confirm it. Just a Wiki post that is not confirmed. You know that one annoying teacher you had who said that some of Wikipedia is false? This is the small bit of it that is false or not confirmed.
