What caliber gun is on the level 1 sentry?

It looks huge,at least >20mm

If we take the size of the engineers index finger we can compare that to the heavys neck to get a basic understanding of length in the tf2 world.Now we need to get a sentery and place it next to a wall near a heavy. This would be easy but the sentery would shoot at the heavy so we need a diffrent class. We could use the spy but he would need to disguise and then we can't compare him to anything properly so again our research is flawed. If you haven't realized by now i'm lieing out of my bum. If it weren't for the medic we would've ditched our research by having the medic uber the heavy we can get the heavy to go next to the level 1 sentery and from there we can see that the level 1 senterys barell is 24mm wide.

Well the level 2 and level 3 sentry guns have machine guns on them instead of one firing barrel so I would say that the caliber on the level 2 and 3 guns is not much more than 15mm

the machine guns can't be 15mm because they do the same damage as the level one sentry, so if the level one sentry is 24mm, then the machine guns are too
