Finally the debate about fatmagic cheating or not has been solved.

I find the situation interesting, and that's not me trying to make a joke, however it has overstayed its welcome. There's really is no clear answer because the accusations are coming from a known troll, and the evidence is being back up by cheaters who might also just being doing a little bit of trolling. On the opposite side, everything thing I've seen from the defense is "Oh it's just lag compensation, the game is old and buggy, he's just good at the game", and it's usually from fans. There's no winning with either side.

I dont know this guy, but the argument of it not being cheats because cheats dont follow through walls is pretty stupid. There are cheats that 100% follow through walls, I see it on 2fort often (not shooting behind walls), and that argument doesn't explain how he knew the pyro was there in the first place when the guy reviewing it also says that it was behind the wall when he started to look at him.

I dont know them and i'm not saying its cheats, but the first point the guy brings up is not really valid for their argument.

but yeah fatmagic probably doesn't cheat, those he cheats videos overlook one fact that those videos are incredibly compressed since they were downloaded, reuploaded and edited many many times, similar to those shroud cheat accusations back then

Yeah, his second argument against it doesn't hold up either since he talks about lag compensation but then doesn't include the hit particles for the lag compensation, the particles are coming from where the spy's head was before they moved after the shot was made so it doesn't make sense for them to base the argument of them not coming from the head when it didn't register for a second because of lag comp. It doesn't really defend him from what the guy said.

I clearly do if I'm going through the effort to type a paragraph about it, heck I even mentioned that this whole thing has overstayed its welcome already. You're right as well, it doesn't matter to anyone, but that doesn't stop people from spectating the situation.
