Team Fortress 2
Will I get banned if i use scripts? READ DESC.
So i just found this script on the internet, it's called "Disguise after stab", and what it does is basically it automaticaly disguises you after you stab someone with your knife, like the YER. Am i gonna get banned for using this script, or any other script like this?

You will never get banned for scripts. Even exploitative scripts, which that one isn't, cannot get you VAC banned (server bans are another story).

Valve specifically implemented scripting. It's fine.

No, you won't get banned, Scripts, pretty much do things for you, now hacking is different, hacking will infact get you banned, but scripts will not.

Depends on what kind of script, and what we call a script. We can call an aimbot script as well.
In my opinion scripts are dumb. They are - as stated above - legal hacking and takes away from the action and gameplay of the game.

No, Scripting is the use of configuration files (.cfg) to create new keybinds and aliases automating complex behaviors and console command sequences. Unlike hacking, scripting is built into Team Fortress 2 and is not banned by VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat). Uses of scripting vary from simply binding a key to a command to self-referential loops and nested aliases that redefine one another. Any functionality that can be created with scripting can also be accomplished without it, but scripting allows these functionalities to be used in the heat of battle.

No, aimbots can't be called scripts. Even if you don't use tf2's definition of scripts (which if you're talking about scripts in tf2, you always should be), aimbots are still full fledged programs or .dll's which can't be called scripts.

What action and gameplay is taken away from the game by removing a minor skill-free mechanical process like pressing a button or two and disguising after stabbing? That's the sort of thing that should be removable if you find yourself doing that all the time anyway, doing it automatically offers nothing other than some slight convenience.

Don't use scripts, that doesn't help you getting better

I don't think anyone's really looking to ever "get better" by using scripts. Just do some neat things and solve some minor inconveniences.

No, but don't use scripts that have a .exe format, these are just scams to get you banned.
