If you use a mic/DAC/soundcard with custom drivers, it'll show up with its own name; if you just plug in your mic into your motherboard/case mic in line, it'll show up with your default audio driver/manager name (ie: Realtek High Definition Audio).
If it doesn't you're either missing drivers or have a defective mic
...or plugging your shit into the wrong jacks
Also, link to the headset
From what I see, the headset only has one plug leading from the headset, which means that you'll need an audio/mic splitter adapter or a USB powered audio/mic adapter...thingy (Turtle beach amps do this, not sure what the function is actually called since they're the only company that I've seen that makes such a thing). If you didn't get an adapter from your vendor, you can purchase them pretty cheap either online or at your local electronics store (they look like this[us.creative.com]) or buy a turtle beach amp here[www.turtlebeach.com].
