The prices on Unusuals are broken. My best bet; don't even bother with trading for an unusual. But the cheapest is the Nuts n' Bolts Dread Knot effect seems to be the most cheapest.

Dread Know is a Heavy hat. OP asked for Engineer hats.

Regaurding my first comment. For the cheapest unusual effect for Engineer is 250 key. That would be the Sheriff's Stetson.

That's one of the most expensive Engie unusuals. OP was asking for the cheapest Engie unusuals.

If you want a cheap one look for a Hetmans (Effects Smoking or Bubbling), Plug-in prospector (Aces High) , or Buckaroos Hat (Bubbling)

You can get those for 7-8keys easy

Oh that reminds me. I'm planning to get an Engie unusual around 15-20 keys, any reccomendations?

I like my electrostatic (I think that is what the effect is called) Miners Helmet, I got it for 10 keys,so you might be interested in that.
