Can't trade paint received in this smissmas.
I opened the thing, got my Australium Gold, tradable, marketable(over 1000 were sold on the market yesterday) but I can't trade or put mine on market, wtf?
I'm not f2p and I have no escrow, btw.

umm, in your inventory it says its tradable and marketable

And that's why I made this topic. If it says it's tradable and marketable, why I can't trade or put it on market? And why backpack.tf says it's untradable? http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561198087420951

Valve may have just started making them untradable and unmarketable because they were crashing the market, but thats just a guess

ALL paints he have are now untradable. Just think of his ref losses now.
Valve can't just try to fix this mistake now after all the trades done yesterday, I hope they revert this change .-.

This is so annoying. I got a paint that a friend of mine wanted so I was going to give it to him this morning but he was offline and now he can't accept it because it's untradable but I can still send him the offer... A lot of people even sold their paints. I hate when they try to change stuff after 24 hours. RIP paint traders that traded in the last 24 hours.

The only paints that were marketable were the cheap ones, Lime, Pink, Black, White, Mint, After8 and all team colored paints weren't given out.

Still, there are traders that buy lots of these and most people don't consider a 7 refs paint "cheap".
And making them be tradable/marketable for one day then making it untradable on the next day (after hundreds of trades had been done) is pure B.S.

I for one am happy. Imagine all those people with a ton of alts, who got potentially endless free paint yesterday.

Odd. My paint says gifted and untradable on backpack.tf, and scrap.tf won't buy it (and the limit hasn't been reached), but I can still trade it and put it on the market. Though Steam has been going down a lot today.

So you would be happy if you had "tons of alts"? I think it's BS. At least keep the unpacked ones tradable as it is unfair.

No. There is no reason for the paints to have been tradable in the first place. Valve realized their mistake and fixed it. Good on them.

I love how Valve always wins and their customers gets the short end of the stick. Bad for all those paint traders and good for Valve. Nice!

Stocking. Steam reports it as non-gifted, tradable, and marketable, but backpack.tf reports it as untradable and gifted.
