What is an acceptable ping for you to play on a TF2 server?

Lately my ping has been a bit wonky, so may look into it.

Normally, my ping on a Virginia server is around 70-90 (over 100 if I'm lagging which is rare). To me, anyone over 105 shouldn't be playing on a server.

So...what is an acceptable ping TO YOU on a server?

Not sure, I haven't been on a valve server in a while or anything, because of my potato PC - which I'm upgrading this Christmas

If you're serious about it <70. I'm never serious about it, so I can tolerate anything under 200. Had to play around 250 during the invasion and halloween updates for some maps.

30 is the max ping you should have while playing TF2.

Anything over 60 on both sides cause major desync.

I prefer as low as possible, I can play with minimal interference till abt 70. I have done well with < 500

Any ping so long as they actually get useful things done.
But I usually prefer 60 or less.

Anything that doesn't go as far as to make basic movement problematic seems to have a rather minimal performance hit for me; I've done well while averaging at around 300 ping before.
