Which of the Merc's can't read?

Throughout the comics, someone always brings up that 4 of the 9 mercs. Do not posses the ability to read (or at least they think 4 of them can't) which Merc's do you guys think can't? I mean first I'm going to rule out the ones we know can read. Engineer has 11 PhDs it's safe to assume he can read, Heavy has a PhD in literature, safe to assume he can read to. I'd say Spy can read, he is seen reading a book in expiration date after all. As for the others, there is no evidence that they can or can't read. What do you guys think? Can 4 of the merc's not read? Or is it just other character's basically calling them idiots.

I can believe that, not sure about sniper. He has mentioned that he did go to school as a kid. But I guess that doesn't exactly mean he was good at it.

He does attempt to read in the comic's once. But struggles and thinks the word is something completely different.

that was my thinking, his house doesn't look like he'd be going to school, and its ironic how you can't own firearms in australia yet sniper comes from there.

Well this is Tf2. In a world where almost all aussies are muscular men or curvy women with moustaches. I don't think that law would really apply to much.

Demo eh? I'm not sure about that, when he isn't drunk he does seem to posses enough intelligence to read. Heavy totally can read, he has a PhD in literature after all.

In the comics we've seen that pyro managed to become the ceo of Frontier Engineering, and he even got them to their best quarter, so I'm pretty sure he can read.
