Australium Wrench and the Golden Wrench
Hi I need some help with this as it makes me decide on what I should buy.
So is the Australium Wrench the same as the Golden Wrench or different and if it is is different, does it still apply the golden statue effect on kill? thanx.

The australium wrench is dropped from MVM. It does not create golden statues on kill.
The golden wrench is limited supply. I believe their are roughly 88 left. These create golden statues on kill.

Golden Wrenches are limited items and cannot be given to others in any way.

The austrailum wrench is a prize you can possibly get from MvM.
The golden wrench was completely different. Back in 2011 or 2010 I think, 100 golden wrenches were given to people at random when they would craft something (Valve disabled the smelt and combine metal features so people didn't constantly do that to get one). I believe some of the golden wrench owners have purposely deleted their golden wrenches.

The only way you can aquire a Golden Wrench is by purchasing an owner's account. But that's against the rules.

The saxxy, golden wrench, and the golden frying pan are the only weapons to make dead people turn into gold...
If you want to get a weapon that kill people to be turned into gold statues, get a golden pan by trading for it (it is a ton load of money) or getting it from Mann Up Two Cities MVM (it is like unboxing a unusual hat/s. unusual weapon rate) or do a saxxy award movie which is based on ur skill for the SFM...

Golden Wrenchs can be gifted i think, you may trade it and they will gift it to you but i doubt that anyone will. Many golden wrenches were destroyed for charity,one guy got VAC banned and his Golden wrench was removed ( i would kill for that), and many people with the Golden Wrench were unactive for years,and people who have it wont add you since everyday,every year,every week they are getting annoyed by people adding them just for the golden wrench.

And just to add, only the golden wrench, golden frying pan, and saxxy have the ability to turn enemies into gold as these are the only weapons with the attribute "imbued with an ancient power".
