A TF2 based RPG?

So I was thinking the other day, what if there was a TF2 based RPG? Well, I thought about it, and I think it would work pretty good. Maybe a 5-10 dollar RPG that had the theme. There would be the same item drop system, stranges, etc. And maybe there could be this system that you could transfer items from the RPG to TF2 itself, and for doing so, you would get a Strange Part for: Monsters Killed, and Dungeon Bosses killed, maybe some other stuff, too! And the cool thing is, after buying the game, you would not have to make any Microtransactions. It would give the Free-to-Play people something to look up too :p. But seriously, I think this game would be cool. I have no other ideas for it, and the classes would have to be dumbed down, but that's a discussion for another day. So, if you have some additions to the game, let me know.

Maybe you should find someone with the will and audacity to work on it first. Just don't expect valve to do it, if done however, I'd give you all of my tf2 inventory.

You could probably do something with RPG Maker. Can't guaruntee it would be popular. There is one RPG Maker game based off GabeN releasing HL3 and the release being sabotaged, but the reviews seem to be pretty negative.

You could get some random RPG, rename some characters to match the classes, then have said characters have movesets similar to thier respective classes.

I.E. the healer character is named Medic and the huge tank character is named Heavy.
