Pyro airblast script?
Seems to me that some time in 2023 the average airblast skill that was observable for pyro players went from what you'd reasonably expect into everyone being super duper cracked and airblasting with almost 100% accuracy. Seems that even in circumstances where you couldn't reasonably see an incoming projectile they still are somehow able to anticipate it perfectly.

Most of the time they do a random airblast and it hits, they dont even realize they got a kill

They'll spam airblast the moment they see a projectile class appear on their screen, and since Soldiers/Demos do the same but with rockets/pipes, what usually happens ends in either the death of the Soldier/Demo or the Pyro looking like a dumbass

It might be surprise but some pyros are skilled or just know how to predict enemy moves.
The pyros aren't suddenly good now. Valve secretly hates you and started matching you with god pyros. My advice is to remember what you did wrong and do it again, it would be funny.

The only reasonable answer to me is that there's no new players in this game and everyone who still plays this game is a veteran. Makes sense. I can't be the only person to have noticed this. I'm not crazy.
How tf would a script react to things? I think you want to use a different word but are scared of using it for some reason.

Can I be read like a book?
Not, it's the pyros cheating that are dumb.

you're crazy. most point blank reflects, what you seem to be complaining about here, are purely the pyro guessing

there are 2 different ranges for reflects... prediction and reaction.... if theyre too close to react, then they predicted when you would fire. it becomes mind games at that point and sometimes you just get lucky

You should be playing this yourself, this meme is over a decade out-of-date. Also I never said it was 100% hacks, I gave my proposed idea with a clearly low level of confidence.

You just don't know what a script. You know, the thing that you need to b-hop in post release versions of half life 1?

You're all crazy if you haven't noticed pyros getting x20 better at airblast in the past couple of years. If there's no script about then this must be the answer.

scripts and cheats arent always the same thing

a script in tf2 could just be something like "destroy 2;build 2". its just a series of commands bound to 1 button

a cheat is something that has the ability to replace YOUR input, with an automatic one. you always have to press a button to airblast, unless you have a cheat, then its automatic.

Wtf? You actually think it's a script? You think something that can only send commands when you push buttons and can not think on its own or accept any input other than you pressing the activation button is doing this?

Or option 3, they have the autoreflect hack.

Applies very well. Some red-faced "meme old, no U" doesn't change that.

Your thread's title itself is "Pyro Airblast Script?" Sure it's clearly. You wanted to play that off like a shoe-fiddling coy little girl of "oh I just kinda-sorta maybe a wee wittle bitsy meant it could be scripts, lul j/k rite might delete later uwu" well, no, stop.
Get outta here man. Phrase it better.
Just ask your husband to go take out the garbage Martha, no it isn't obvious what's bothering you.

Don't do that hen go off trying to be the true cerial and smart one here, raving that everyone else is a reee discord reddit soiboi tard, when you dance around like that.

The core of the matter is, decent pyro players with more than 40 hours can easily predict you, they don't need to react to reflect your shots, they have you read like a book.
