What gun is the SMG based off of?
Title. I'm naming my Strange SMG after the real-life counterpart. Problem is, dunno what that is (if at all)!

So if you could tell me, that would be nice.

It appears to be a modified MAT-49 submachine gun, without rear sights or its distinguishable folding stock.

I played Heroes and Generals.
There is a weapon called the Grease Gun that looks like the SMG.

The Tec-9 comes closer to it lol, the Mac-10 has it's magazine in the handle, while the SMG dosen't.

It bares a resemblance to a lot of different guns, the magazine and barrel look a lot like an MP40, it's receiver looks a lot like a MAT-49. Even the general shape of it looks a bit like a TEC-9 (although the TEC-9 wasn't in existence at the time of this game), ultimately I think they were just trying to make a stereotypical looking SMG.

Tec-9 is still a friggin pistol.

You are right about it being a handgun,but the TEC-9 looks more like the Sniper's SMG than the MAC-10.

Well technically the MAC-10 is a handgun, if by handgun you mean it can be held in one hand.

Might be difficult to fire with one hand.

The ghetto seems to have no difficulty using Tec-9's and Mac-10's.
