The question is if LEGO wants to or not.
Both Marvel and DC comics have much darker stories and histories. Dr. Who is even part of Lego Dimensions. You just don't put in the violent stuff or you make it kid friendly.
I'm getting the impression you haven't tried any of the lego games. The violent stuff is simply removed. At its Core TF2 really ISNT that violent aside from people being gibbed. Everything would basically be the same except blood wouldn't spray everywhere when a lego character dies, they'd just fall to pieces.
Because TF2 was a huge secret before?
