Example: The DDS is a crutch because it allows a Sniper to survive a single headshot.
Broken: Offers an unfair advantage.
Example: The Huntsman is broken due to its increased headshot hitbox.
OP/UP: Incredibly broken/useless
Example: The Sun on a Stick has no use and is under-powered.
Broken: Something with major issues. Can include crutches, UP/OP and stuff that doesn't really have a name for what it is. The Phlog is underpowered against good players and better than most weapons against bad players. It's not in a good place, so something is broken.
UP: Not useful enough or not powerful enough. Should be fairly obvious.
The Heavy's shotgun is not a bad weapon, but if he uses the minigun, it's not useful enough to use over the sandvich or chocolate bar most of the time. The Sun-On-A-Stick is just too weak.
OP: Too useful or too powerful. Should be fairly obvious.
The Jag was too useful compared to stock. The DDS gives an unfair advantage in sniper vs sniper fights.
"Select only one of the definitions even if more than one applies"
Crutch: In video games, usually a weapon, class, hero, etc that is fun for noobs but offers no enjoyment if you want to apply skills and have fun. Does not break game or make game unplayable.
Ex: Old Degreaser + anything. Bonus points if with old old axtinguisher.
Broken: In video games, usually a weapon, class, hero, etc that was intended in development to play a certain way is expoitable either through an oversight of developers or through a bug. It is unintentional. Usually is used to discribe a powerful subject but can be used to discribe a weak one. Either way, it breaks the game and substracts enjoyment from game.
Ex: Old Saharan Spy set.
OP: Overpowered. Not sure but I think Smogon coined this. Intentional and may be game breaking, but not required to be. Development made it like that way on purpose.
Ex: Stock weapons in general.
UP: Underpowered. Smogon used this a lot too. Intentionally weak and may or may not be game breaking.
Ex: Unlocks in general.
