10th class idea : Mercenary

Don't flame me, don't go meme crazy, don't you dare use a forum weapon because I got this idea about a 10th class! This is all for fun! He is right here: http://tf2classic.com/wiki/Mercenary he is from " tf2classic.com " (play the classic TF2 here! *Dynamite not included*) He could be a fun class to play, but he wouldn't contain special qualities like the Pyro gaining HP from a flamethrower. Maybe this could be a class for Premium players? Don't flame me, it came from the mod after all. -_-

The Mercenary is a class exclusive to the Deathmatch gamemode. He can pick up different weapons lying around the battlefield to replace his default weapons, the Pistol and the Crowbar.

This is why he doesn't fit in with Team Fortress 2. The whole point of TF2 classes is they're very good at a few things, but not great at everything. The Mercenary class throws that whole concept into the trash by letting him use any weapon. Incidentally, that's why he's also exclusive to Deathmatch in TF2C.

So no, Mercenary will not be the tenth class in TF2. And he definitely will not become a premium perk.

This is the voice actor for the actual mercenary in the mod btw. You wanna talk about adding him into the game(which is a terrible idea, a just awful idea) then take it up with him and the mod makers.(They'll say no.)
