How do I set a max fps limit into TF2's launch options?

Each time I launch the game I have to type fps_max 61 into the console. So I was wondering if there's a way I can put the command into the game's launch options.

Create a file in Team Fortress 2/tf/cfg called autoexec.cfg and put that command in the file.
Also, don't cap your FPS at anything lower than 2x your monitor's refresh rate

hey i got a 60 hz moniter too but im using a fps config, (im on a laptop) you rekon i could go at 120 frames aswell? :D
specs:
geforce 830m
8gb ram
intel core i5

If your monitor is 60 Hz, set your max frames at 121. It is (2 * Hz) +1.

I am taking so much fps and when taking more fps my laptop heats so much and I am reducing fps to 70 or 60
