Maybe a bullet shield for the Demoman?
Fire resistance is already covered in all shields, so is explosive resistance, except bullet resistance.. The easiest way to take down a Demoknight are Heavies, Sentries, Decent Pyros, Decent Scouts, and of course random krits..

So why not a bullet shield for Demoman? Little to no fire resistance, small explosive resistance, and slightly more bullet resistance..

Demoman was never supposed to tank damage. And nearly everyone comes equipped with a bullet-based weapon, not to mention how melee damage is determined.

Most weapons in the game are bullets, so it would basically be giving extra health. It would probably be OP unless it was a tiny percentage.

I'm talking like 15-30% resistance..

maybe a riot shield?
-short charge range
-no damage on shield bash
+stuns for 2 seconds on shield bash
+ 20% bullet resistance

Even that is resisting a good percent of the weapons in the game.

Wait, I have a question about the game, although I've played for a while: do energy weapons like the bison and pomson count as bullet damage?

Vaccinator?
Considering how Medic's role in the first place is to heal, giving him a healing incentive based on damage-types taken is perfectly fine.

Demoman was never intended to be a tanky class. The shields never even started out with damage resistances. But for whatever reason, that eventually changed, and it was pretty broken.

It's alright, I think I'm better as stock demoman.. It is fun to blow up things that provide me with no strategic advantage..

So you want to give a Gimmicky subclass even more terrible gimmicks?
This is about on par with the idiot I encountered that had an idea for a Demo shield that made Demo immune to airblast knockback.
