ERROR Models in Saxton Hale?

Saxton Hale (yes, I still play the game mode)

I started picking it back up recently, and when I joined a server, I started seeing Saxton Hale and the Vagineer as giant "ERROR" signs. This is only for Saxton Hale and the Vagineer, the other bosses (Christian Brutal Sniper, Easter Bunny, and Horseless Headless Horsemann) I see just fine. I have searched high and low, under and over, to help solve my problem. I have tried every troubleshooting tip I could fine on Google, but nothing worked. I have noticed that the vast majority of the fixes I found on the internet were severely outdated. To save time, here's a list of things I've tried:

*verifying game cache
*uninstalling and reinstalling Team Fortress 2
*going into my /tf folder, deleting anything involved with Saxton Hale, and rejoining the server to let the files redownload on their own
*manually downloading the official files from the internet, and putting them into my /tf folder as the forums said to


If anyone has anything else that I could try, I would gladly do so! Please help, I want to play with working models!

Are you sure you went into tf/download folder?

Yes, I'm sure I did everything in the right folder. I'll have to try joining a death run server and see if that fixes the problem. Thanks for providing another idea!
