Decorated Weapon or Strange?

I main Demoman and I'm puzzled what variant of Grenade Launcher I should get. I can land my shots decently, however I love the look of the Butcher Bird.. I can't afford a stattrak skin so that's not an option..

Yep. You really can't win with stranges and other people. Either too little to show off, too much to be believable(totally farmed, you invested time so it must be farmed.), or they just say you have no life. Plus they got some cool new skins and you can inspect them. Why you aren't able to inspect all weapons yet is a mystery to me.

I personally love strange weapons because I prefer to have a statistical record of my kills, dominations, etc. With that said, strange skins are incredibly overpriced, due to Valve's adoption of the CS:GO condition and rarity system. No offense to the players that you've met, but I've never heard of someone's play being inhibited by a strange weapon. If anything, it sounds like those players were looking for something to put the blame on.

Some servers actually have a script that allows you to inspect every weapon (As long as the stock variant has a skin). The issue is that the animations are very limited, so for instance if you try to inspect the Sandvich, the heavy will hold it as if it was a shotgun.
