Mat_picmip -10 Please Volvo!
Something I want in TF2 added back in again is the option to set textures via console commands to -10, being totally UNCOMPRESSED textures, I've recently looked at screenshots and watched videos. And the game looks AMAZING with this enabled. Check out these videos and decide if you want this option to be added again.

DON'T WORRY. NO TROLLS, RICK ROLLS, OR EARRAEP!!!

Just copy-paste into your search bar

Mat_picmip - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUvWJdbqvFY

Very high VS. Ultra high- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y26mTUWYRLg

Back to the point, the game looks amazing. with Mat_picmip -10, hand view models like Sniper's , you can see the threading on his gloves, background object, say the cow outside the RED on 2Fort base look crystal clear. Text on things like "Odor B' Gone" can in 2Fort BLU base have clear text. Since 2010, this has been disabled due to reported performance issues.
Still, I would love to see this be re-implemented into the game, only in SFM can you enable Mat_picmip -10. in TF2, -1 is the highest you can go anymore. -1 is exactly the same as choosing "Very High" texture quality in the video settings. and the videos above are just using 2Fort as an example, imagine Upward with uncompressed textures!

Fine, if we can't have uncompressed textures in the game, then at least give us the ability to enable mp_usehwmmodels and mp_usehwmvcds. Which enables the models used in the "Meet the Team" videos to be rendered in-game. This was disabled as of March, 2014. "This makes player models more detailed and gives them more realistic facial expressions." According to the TF2 Wiki. Which looks pretty cool.

Do you want this re-enabled? Tell me below =)

Help me spread the word please, this something I really want back in the game.

For the videos credit must go to Fibonacci Sequence, and GeniusGT

Why would they disable them anyway?
It would require someone to do thru the console, not settings, so it would end up rarely used (so only those who want to ramp up graphics would do it).

I like your reasoning! that is a valid point, not everyone used it, so why remove the option?
