Can't seem to load the class select screen

i've been trying to play tf2 again after a while, and for some reason the class select screen never loads, i'm stuck just looking at the map for some reason. any help would be apreciated(no idea what else to put here)

I don't think there's a permanent fix. It's a bug that just happens occasionally. I know on community servers you can do "spectate" in console, and then choose a team.

honestly i thought i fixed it for a second, it seems the mvm map movies cause the issue
