And don't just say "Pay money if you love TF2" that's not the damn point!
TF2 IS FREE! THAT'S WHAT LET IT GET SO BIG IN THE FIRST PLACE!
The only thing it use to cost was your time! Most weapons could be earned via achievements and random drops!
Most of this fan base is just old players who came back after the bot crisis ended. No one would play this for over 2 hours after realizing you need to pay money to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ speak.

valve just does things as they please. as awesome as it would be for f2ps to be able to speak, the community would probably have to do a lot to get valve to change it
