Team Fortress 2
Is the enforcer weak?
Does enforcer buff only affect a single shot?

I play mostly spy, i never use this revolver, the extra first shot damage does not seem to justify the 20% slower firing speed. But I've also heard people say the weapon isn't weak.

What am I missing

The answer should be pretty obvious since disguises get removed when you attack. The firing speed doesn't matter that much, it's optimal to wait between shots so you don't have to deal with bullet spread. Plus it's good against vaccinator medics for what that's worth.

I had assumed it did only last one shot. everything about it seems inferior to stock revolver. I try to avoid dueling vaccinated people if I can anyway xD

i actually quite like it for razorback snipers since you can two shot them, then again you can also just diamondback or ambassador them. i personally prefer the enforcer cos it's alot more consistent for that purpose, though, whereas the others you either need decent aim (not me) or to have backstabbed someone else first (also not me). it's nowhere near as useless as i think people make it out to be, just underwhelming compared to the other revolvers

Well, like I said the firing speed penalty doesn't matter much since it's better to wait between shots instead of shooting as fast as possible.

I use it the most out of Spy's revolvers, but I DO wish it had better stats. A shame as I like its design overall. It kind of reminds me of the cartoon revolver used by Eddie Valiant in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

there's no damage fall off with buildings so you can bypass wrangled sentries without any damage fall off

Of course thats very tricky business given Spy is such a frail class, and an engineer wrangling is likely to aim in your direction before you get halfway down the sentry's health meter.

I wouldn't say it's weak as much as it's just not worth using

its good for piercing some resistances like the mentioned wrangler shield

its good if you don't wanna 3 shot razorback snipers with stock (or 2 shot them with a headshot on ambassador), pretty sure it 2 shots snipers if disguised on the first shot
It's perfect for making Wrangler Engineers suffer. It's my favourite revolver in general for no particular reason.
Is it weak? Probably not, but maybe underwhelming.

Its resistance piercing is good for shooting wrangled sentries at full damage, as well as players protected by Vaccinator bubbles, it can also 1-shot DR + Kunai spies at base health when you're disguised.

The damage bonus while disguised can potentially 2-shot light classes, but you need to be very close to not be affected by damage falloff. Your best use case are Razorback Snipers.

I think it be better if it were called the le killer and it would do bleed damage at the cost of firing speed, reload speed, clip size, damage, holster and deploy speed, and if it rightfully reduced spy’s max health to 70

If I'm not trying to sneak around the enemy team with the l'etranger, I just use stock. The enforcer just feels weird.

you're a distraction like when a wrangled sentry is placed on enemy 2fort battlements you're on your own battlements and you harrass his sentry from across the map, damage fall off will actually make you tank more hitscans and the wrangled rockets are very easy to avoid at spy speed
