Good to pick up, but massively rewards learning the absolutely humongous skill ceiling
Also offers team buffs on the side if you want it so, a great Soldier can just end up owning the match, and when with a Medic they can essentially "teleport" two players to the frontlines, no contest.

Subclass goes for Demoknight, since that's just a whole new way to play
Not specifically the best thing one might argue, but hey it's easily another hundred hours of a learning curve so why not

Demoknights are nearly as useless as friendlies.

Best class is Demo if we're talking solo and Medic if we factor in teammates. Demo is strong and flexible. He's good in pretty much any situation you can think of and the sticky bomb launcher is straight up one of the best weapons in the game. Medic has Ubercharge. Enough said.

Best Subclass is Demoknight by default. I like demoknight, but I'll admit he's pretty bad. If there were another actual subclass there's a good chance it would be better.

I would say Demoman, he’s pretty good at setting up traps and taking down sentry nests.

And for sub-class… well there’s only one option, which is demoknight.

Yes, you're correct

The only "real" subclass is demoknight as it truly swaps a powerhouse for a specialist pick class

Everything else is fake

"Trolldier!!!" That's just market gardner being OP, you can still play this with stock + gunboats

"Battle/Ninja Engi!" That's literally just changing the wrench, and you still do what your class should do in at least 2/3 sets of buildings when compared to stock

"Huntsman" You're still a sniper that headshots, just different method

Best support is spy/ medic

the best class, in my opinion is demoman, since he has good primaries, and since the melees that can random crit do it a lot

the best subclass is demoknight, since the only other "sublcass" that i would call a subclass is trolldier, and im bad at trolldier
