Why doesnt team fortress 3 get released

Now that valve made source 2 it would make sense for them to release team fortress 3. With new mercs, just like what they did with team fortress 1 to team fortress 2

Because TF2 is already a terrible enough game. Only reason people play it is because its one of the last un-moderated games still around. TF3 would be highly moderated and still have bad game play so nobody would play it.

That's not true, it's because all other games are heavily moderated and even more terrible because they chase every terrible popular trend.
