Will tf2 ever receive normal maps again?

Every new map lately seems to be either summer, jungle, halloween, or christmas-themed.
There's barely any new maps that use the aesthetic style of dustbowl and other desert maps that aren't too saturated, aside from maybe Applejack. Will normal maps ever be added again?

At this point I'd consider anything that wouldn't explicitly look like a holiday map to be normal. It's nice having more variety than just dirt map #5647

Will TF2 ever be fixed? probably not, it's sad. Some of the maps that get added are just random. Random is sometimes good, but the core game always gets ignored.

If we do get normal looking maps it's unlikely to be selected into official map rotation unless the community genuinely nags the janitor enough to add them.
