Hey everyone, i got 2-3 cases from playing and and im currently a F2P player and cant chat or call coms so i was wondering if i can get access to those 2 features ( chatting and calling coms) but simply trading the cases? and if so what should i trade them for to unlock the features?

sadly no, you have to buy an item from the store or be given the premium upgrade or buy it yourself. chatting is the best tho, i still hate valve/steam for literaly censoring the F2P.

I am sorry my friend, but until someone gifts you a upgrade to premium gift/steam credit OR you send any amount in the Mann. Co store, no voice chat for you!

I think you can't sell items on community market if you didn't make any purchases in Steam last year. Cases are cheap anyway... So:
- Put a total of $5 into Steam (buy games directly or fill your steam wallet),
- Buy something at Mann Co store (backpack expander is the best choice, Mann Co crate key also works). Online shopping via item wiki page also works. This will give you premium account.
- After 1 week passes, item you bought can be traded with other people; trade it for refined metal, then exchange some of it for guns, plus some hats you would like. At about this time, chat will also unlock.
- Enjoy playing

Unfortunately some people abused these functions in the past, and the only way to unlock them is through paying in some way. So sorry friend.

spend 5 dollars on steam first, and then buy anything from the mann co store to unlock the voice comms. I recommend buying a crate key or a mann up ticket, you can turn the mann up ticket into refined and trade it for hats

Buy a backpack expander (aka more inventory slots for weapons and cosmetics). This will enable premium and in turn text + voice chat

buy the cheapest thing in store. Don't buy any weapons. You can earn them by playing the game.
