most of the tf2 community outside of steam is trash

the youtubers passing opinion as fact so consistently its changed what players consider good or bad in this game

the discord banning people with rules they added to a game they dont own

the reddit, youre not even really allowed there (last i checked, i had to contact a moderator just to view the trading community, just to VIEW it, as if the moderrator can tell whether im a good boy or not)

more importantly, when they come log into tf2, they dont reflect the core tf2 community.

seriously if you own a tiktok account, or have ever used it, I dont think you should be here.

its not tiktok, its the fact that youre easy to manipulate.



i mean, the people from these communities are aggressively stupid people, like really really stupid

a guy made a rant about landfall and it went from the best competitive map on ctf to the least picked map (this youtubers argument was that the engies had too much power on this map, and that it takes too long to end the game.)

thats the point. this is why i believe you people who are easily swayed should not play this game.


most of the youtube accounts ive been seeing have followed that trend.

without any updates, week after week new videos of "NO THIS IS THE BEST WEAPON IN TF2"

because, well, you dumb kids, i know you arent kids but, 23 and younger you guys are VERY easy.

you think this is how tf2 is played. its not like your typical game of just "who has more numbers and better aim" tf2 came out before the formula.

in this game you have to be very creative, and that goes against what youtubers show you.




for example, sentry spots exist, and you feel you must learn the sentry spots on each map right?

no. none of us ever had or needed sentry spots. being predictable in tf2 is the worst thing you can do.

for every engie spot you memorize, another player did too and knows exactly where to aim with the demo to counter you.

then the engie that uses a weird corner starts racking up kills cause he tricked the enemies for a good 2 minutes or so


the outside community, outside of steam. i dont like them

infact, when it comes to steam games i wish we would all come back here. i wish youd all get off discord.

steam has always sucked for communication. thats why we used skype and teamspeak (teamspeak was always hot garbage btw, it just feels too late to say it. it was trash.)

skype is surprisingly good again, with all the features discord has but for free, + there are no servers on skype, but we used to create and invite eachother to groups because, that was the thing to do

lets all go back ye? literally backwards, altogether now


you dont want more tf2 content. if you get what you asked for youll get EA tf2 :) ive been saying it for about 10 years now,





yes tf2 players, your complaints mean less than dirt. "fixtf2" really just means "I want you to rebalance my favorite/hated items" "i want more stuff added" these guys cant even list any bugs they have issues with that interrupt their gameplay. should be obvious

clearly the game "needs to be so fixed" after all, its been on top of the steam charts since release in 2007, what a totally broken game -_-

infact i was a pyro main when they released the pyro update.

I was a really good pyro, performing well on the leaderboard.

Pyro was hard to use BECAUSE w+m1, but if you were SMART and didnt really on just, who has more numbers and better aim, you would have slaughtered people as pyro.

after the pyro update, pissed. they over buffed pyro and never went back to fix it.

burn damage is taking out like half your health and lasting wayyyyy too long. why?!?!

now as a pyro it feels like half the time i dont need to cook anyone, as long as i simply touch them with fire for a second.

its too easy to play pyro now. pyros used to be scared of heavies. heavy hard counters pyro, not its just a mostly counter if the pyro is bad



back on the topic of asking for more and more and more



fuyck off and go away becuase, no game can be perfectly balanced. when devs mess with things it gets worse and worse and worse til the game dies.

adding more stuff to the game opens the door for more problems.

you people need to intellect tf up before i lose faith in you all


and stay away from tf2 vloggers. they just say and do negative things and get people on bandwagons.

sfm videos are awesome, everyone else yapping is a problem.

I'm not reading that. I agree with the title. SFM basically everything, all TF2bers, streamers, Steam Forums, and community server forums are pure detritus. SFM in particular has always been the cringiest ♥♥♥♥ I've ever seen, it's been like a decade and a half and it's only aged worse. Maybe I was always older than target audience of SFM and TF2bers since I was 16 when TF2 released. The official Valve Meet the Team videos were good and I assume that's SFM so shrug.

That said taste is subjective so there's no point in even discussing these things most times.
